Captain John Gribble of DB Sport Fishing Charters has been fishing the Western and Central Basins of Lake Erie for the past 20 years, starting out as a first mate and working his way up to a full time charter captain. He took over the family business in 2001 with one boat and a handful of clients and since then has expanded to a four boat charter fleet that runs over 300 trips a season.

Captain John promotes Lake Erie by participating in live radio interviews and seminars at local sport shows. He also takes sports writers on his boat. Captain John fishes in tournaments across Lake Erie. He is sponsored by Cisco Fishing Systems, Contender Trolling Spoons, The Doc Shop, Happy Hooker Bait and Tackle, Raymarine, Tiny's Cyclops Hair Jigs, and Dave's Kaboom Baits. Mike Defibaugh has fished tournaments for about 10 years. He's participated in such tournaments as the Walmart FLW tour, the Masters Walleye Circuit (MWC), LEWT, GNWC, Western Reserve, WOWC, and other open circuits.

Mike has 5 - 1st place wins, 7 - 2nd place finishes, and over 30 top 10 finishes. He has obtained such honors as 2005 GNWC Team of the Year, 2005 GNWC 2nd place in the Regional Championship, 2006 MWC 5th place overall in the Eatern Division, 2007 MWC top 8 in Walleye Madness, 2007 11th place MWC in the World Championship. Mike has also qualified for the Cabelas NTC twice.

Dave Hall fishes in the FLW league and other top tournament circuits across the region.

With 2 wins and 7 top 10 finishes, Dave is an up and comming star in the walleye tournament arena.

Dave Hall is also involved in promoting the sport of walleye fishing by speaking at seminars and trade shows.

Sam Cappelli is a Cabela's National Team championship qualifier. He also has many top 5 finishes in his career.

Sam fishes in the Cabela's Master Walleye Circuit, the Cabela's National Team Championship, the FLW Walleye Circuit, the Westen Reserve Walleye Association, the BWT league, the NEWC trails league, and other Regional and Local Circuits.

John Csizmadia is a Cabela's National Team Championship qualifier. John fishes in the Cabela's Master Walleye Circuit, the Cabela's National Team Championship, the FLW Walleye Circuit, the Westen Reserve Walleye Association, the BWT league, the NEWC trails league, and other Regional and Local Circuits.

Capt Fred is one of the Contender Trolling Spoons origanal Pro Staff members. Fred is a tournament fisherman when he is not running his succesful charter buisness. He also is a field tester of our products.
